Itinerary in Detail

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning, you'll be collected from your accommodation in Arusha/Moshi or Kilimanjaro/Arusha Airport and transported to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its expansive elephant populations, majestic lions, and striking baobab trees, the park also hosts diverse wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffaloes. Throughout the day, you'll embark on an immersive exploration, observing wildlife in their natural habitat, before concluding the adventure with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Karatu – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, travelling through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you pass through the highlands and descend towards the vast Serengeti plains.
Enter the Serengeti and enjoy a game drive en route to your accommodation. Look out for wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, elephants and predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas. Depending on the season and the location of the migration herds, you may encounter large concentrations of wildlife.
Arrive at your camp or lodge in the afternoon, with time for further game viewing before dinner.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Spend the day exploring the plains, river valleys and woodland areas with your guide, searching for the park's abundant wildlife.
The Serengeti is famous for its resident lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and other wildlife. Depending on the time of year, your guide will focus on areas where the Great Migration is most likely to be found.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wilderness and continue exploring throughout the afternoon. Return to your camp or lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha or Airport

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and travel towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Continue to the crater, where you descend to the floor for a memorable game drive in one of Africa's most remarkable wildlife habitats.

Explore the crater floor in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and, with luck, the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated site during your crater excursion.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater and begin your journey back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), where your safari concludes.

This was my first time in Tanzania and I could not have asked for a better guide. He showed us the most beautiful places and animals there are in Tanzania. A few weeks ago I went on an amazing Safari with Ronald. He is an amazing guide that has a lot of knowledge about the animals and their habitat.
